Atypical Work Space Charity

ONS data revealed that in 2021, just 29% of autistic adults are in any kind of employment. And we're here to challenge that.

A registered charity, at Atypical Work Space we have created a safe and supportive work and social environment, where adjustments are made so our neurodiverse team can work and thrive, helping them lead more independent and productive lives.

As well as developing their practical, social and life skills, we pay the Living Wage, which in some cases gives them their first experience of financial independence.

We receive no external funding so rely totally on the income our neurodiverse team generates from: repairing, refurbishing and recycling computer equipment; selling items via our eBay shop; providing IT support to customers; and finally, from your donations.

London Youth

We are London Youth: a charity on a mission to support the capital’s youth sector to improve the lives of young people. We do this with and through our members – a network of 600 youth organisations – and at our two outdoor residential centres, Hindleap Warren and Woodrow High House. Throughout our 135-year history, community youth organisations have provided a constant lifeline and a vital safe space outside the family and formal education, where young people can develop confidence, resilience and skills. Young people need opportunities outside school to have fun with their friends, to make a positive change in their communities and to shape the city they live in. We look to work with all young people, focusing particularly on those who wouldn’t otherwise have access to the kind of opportunities we offer.

LD Training

LD Training Services provide flexible Further and Higher Education to hard to reach adult learners through nationally accredited training programmes and qualifications. Supported by the University of Leeds and delivered on their campuses in London, Dudley, Nottingham and online.

They recently established a new campus in Stanmore in North West London. To save money they used Reyooz to help furnish the new campus.

Telegraph Hill Centre is just south of New Cross in the London Borough of Lewisham. It provides a space for communities, local entrepreneurs and independent, social businesses to come together to trade, learn, grow and collaborate. With a variety of regular activities each week and spaces to hire for all occasions and collaborations, the Centre really does have something for everyone. Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is an integrated care trust which provides hospital and community health services for Hackney, the City and surrounding communities. The Trust provides a full range of adult, older people’s and children’s services across medical and surgical specialties.
